    The European Central Bank is launching a financial literacy campaign for women based on step-counting.

    ECB president Christine Lagarde unveiled the programme, named EuroSteps, at an event on March 2 ahead of International Women’s Day, which will take place on March 8. 

    The bank said EuroSteps was “designed to fit naturally into women’s everyday lives” as it “combines physical activity – like daily step counting – with bite-sized lessons so that learning about money feels simple, relevant and
