    The International Monetary Fund has said Nepal’s economy is far more stable today than it was in 2022, when reforms began with the support of the institution. However, the fund added that further reforms would be needed to generate growth and raise living standards in the country.

    The IMF completed its seventh and final review under its extended credit facility arrangement for Nepal in June. This allowed the authorities to withdraw the equivalent of around $42.9 million, bringing the total
