BitGo has opened a new office in Singapore after tripling its Asia Pacific client base over the past two years.
The city-state serves as the digital asset infrastructure company’s regional hub.
BitGo Singapore received a Major Payment Institution licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in August 2024, and its local headcount has since more than doubled.
Its regional clients include regulated financial institutions, corporate customers, digital asset businesses, service providers and high-net-worth investors.
The office also houses BitGo Prime’s largest trading desk.
The unit provides digital asset trading and connects clients with liquidity providers while integrating these services with BitGo’s custody infrastructure.
Trading volumes at the desk more than doubled in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year.
BitGo plans to add more employees locally as it expands its operations across Asia Pacific.

“Our job is to be that steady hand to help our clients navigate the future of finance.
As institutional digital asset adoption accelerates across the region, Singapore’s regulatory rigor and thriving financial ecosystem provide a strong foundation for BitGo’s continued growth in APAC.”
said Angela Ang, Managing Director, APAC and President, BitGo Singapore.
Angela joined BitGo in June 2026 after previously leading Asia Pacific public policy at TRM Labs and spending more than a decade at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
