Home Modifications Iowa has announced Care Partner Camp, a new in-person, interactive program aimed at equipping family caregivers across Iowa with practical skills and support resources. According to a news release from the nonprofit, the initiative aims to respond to growing caregiving demands as families face reduced access to formal support services amid Medicaid funding challenges and workforce shortages. Designed for spouses, adult children and others providing care for aging or disabled loved ones, the program will offer hands-on training, guidance on local resources and strategies to promote caregiver well-being as well as on-site care services for loved ones. Registration details are available at carepartnercamp.org.
