State-run SJVN Ltd on Tuesday stated that its capital expenditure is more likely to attain Rs 5,500 crore in 2021-22 in opposition to the targetted Rs 5,000 crore.

The corporate has deliberate Rs 8,000 crore capex in 2022-23.

SJVN CMD Nand Lal Sharma in a press release stated, “By registering over 100 per cent capex utilisation in 11 months of present monetary 12 months, SJVN has maintained its stature of being a wonderful performing Energy Sector CPSU.”

On the current tempo of labor, the capital expenditure is more likely to attain Rs 5,500 crore throughout the ongoing fiscal 12 months, thus surpassing the goal by 10 per cent, Sharma stated.

For FY 2022-23, SJVN is focusing on Rs 8,000 crores capex utilization and with a number of initiatives being underneath growth, the corporate is ready to satisfy this goal additionally, he added.

Sharma added that SJVN’s capital expenditure has been unfold over 10 initiatives of over 3,500 MW capability which might be within the development stage.
