Azrieli lays cornerstone for SolarEdge campus

The brand new campus will embody places of work and R&D services masking 38,000 sq. meters for the photo voltaic power firm and needs to be able to be occupied within the first quarter of 2025.


Israeli income-producing property firm Azrieli Group (TASE: AZRG) has begun development of the SolarEdge Applied sciences (Nasdaq: SEDG) at Glilot North in Ramat Hasharon at an funding of NIS 860 million.

The cornerstone laying ceremony was held earlier this week attended by Ramat Hasharon Mayor Avi Gruber, Azrieli Group chairman Danna Azrieli and CEO Eyal Henkin and SolarEdge CEO Zvi Lando in addition to the mission’s architects Roy Secker and Ido Zamir from Skorka Architects.

The brand new campus masking 16.5 dunams (4.125 acres) will embody places of work and R&D services masking 38,000 sq. meters and needs to be able to be occupied within the first quarter of 2025.

There will probably be a sq. on the campus named for the late founder and CEO of SolarEdge Man Sella. Based in 2006, the photovoltaics firm supplies energy optimizers, photo voltaic inverters and monitoring methods for photovoltaic arrays. SolarEdge is Israel’s second most precious firm with a market cap of $17.65 billion.

SolarEdge has signed a 15 yr lease with Azrieli, with an possibility to increase the lease till 24 years and 11 months. The settlement will yield annual NOI of NIS 62 million for Azrieli.
