Alliant Energy has announced its charitable foundation and the company’s employees and retirees contributed nearly $6.6 million and more than 66,000 volunteer hours to nonprofits and community causes in 2025, supporting over 1,280 organizations and distributing more than 700 grants across Iowa and Wisconsin. The Alliant Energy Foundation’s giving and volunteer efforts focused on four areas: community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness, and hunger and housing, including over $35,000 in safety grants for 31 communities and first responders. The company also reported progress toward its goal of planting 1 million trees by 2030, with more than 627,000 trees planted in Iowa and Wisconsin since July 2021. It also provided over $114,000 in scholarships to more than 100 students to help offset tuition and student loan costs.
