Des Moines Public Schools is holding a bilingual news conference this morning to provide an update on its “Reimagining Education” initiative and open a public comment period on proposed plans. The district is seeking input from students, families, staff and community members on proposed Signature School pathways, Career and Technical Education Maker Space programming, enrollment options and related student opportunities. Open through June 30, the public comment period, offers a chance to review proposed programming and provide feedback through online surveys and informational videos available in multiple languages.
