Orchard Place, a Des Moines nonprofit focused on children’s mental health, has announced its first Rooted in Resilience Mental Health Awareness Luncheon, will be held May 7, at the Des Moines Heritage Center. “Throughout the luncheon, guests will hear real stories of resilience … that are powerful examples of how timely, compassionate care can transform and even save lives,” Katie Snell, vice president of the Orchard Place Foundation, said in a statement. “Strong partnerships create powerful change, and your support could help thousands of children and families receive critical life-saving resources.” For more information or to purchase tickets, click visit the Orchard Place website.
